Pangbourne Meadow

Pangbourne Meadow is a beautiful area consisting of a big grassy meadow adjacent to the tow path, while further inland there is a large field and children’s play area, including toilets. Throughout the summer the meadow is used for recreation, picnics and games. In June it hosts the annual Pangbourne village fete.

There's plenty of open land for short, easy walks on both sides of the river. If you follow the Thames Path, you can visit the nearby Whitchurch Lock a few minutes upstream, or Mapledurham Lock downstream (a bit further away ca. 3 km / 2 mi).
